The blue cast of wintertime shade accentuates the surrealistic world of mega-potholes and waterfalls found on the "Edge of the World" section of Dry Meadow Creek
Brandon Prince is hand paddling below "Special Sauce," a dead vertical 18 foot falls. The partially obscured drop just upstream of Special Sauce is 22 foot high "Super Freak." The lead-in to this drop is a claustrophobic pothole known as Lecter's Lounge. Because the sides of this pothole are too tall, steep and slick, once you're in the Lounge you're pretty much committed to running Super Freak. Although smaller than the preceding falls, the six foot drop that Brandon is preparing to do has a sticky hydraulic at a higher flow.
