Keith Beck introduces his son Joey to the excitement of whitewater kayaking. Joey had a great time on the Powerhouse Run in the TopoDuo two-person kayak and helped his father to get through challenging rapids like Big Daddy, Freight Train and Ewings. Keith is a long-time Kern boater. He has paddled virtually all of the Kern River from the Headwaters to Bakersfield and was one of the first to paddle the difficult "Cataracts" section of the Kern River in Kern canyon downstream of Democrat dam.
